This example demonstrates the response of each one of the I/O definitions created for an analog input specifically for the PV1200 display. I/O definitions are created using every possible setting available in the Powervision I/O definition library. A selector variable in the Connections tab allows the user to test each one of the I/O definitions to examine the response to an input.
As you will note each one of the settings will return a value of A/D counts even though there is a option to select "Volts". To convert A/D counts to a real world value a pre-defined curve must be used that converts A/D count to the desired engineering value.
For a complete description on setting up the analog inputs watch this Mapping Analog Inputs Tutorial.
