Example: Software Update from USB File List

This example demonstrates how to read a list of configuration files from a USB flash drive, display them in a list, and allow the user to select a file from the list and start the software installation. List widgets are used in this example so would need to be modified if using it on a PV450, PV485, or PV780 since they do not support list widgets.

On-screen instructions explain the steps needed to accomplish this task. The Script Library function LoadFileInfo which reads files with a specified extension from USB and populates a list makes this process very simple.
