Modex Automation specialized in the design and manufacture of control equipment for the standby diesel generator, process control and packaging equipment industries. The company – originally based in Hayling Island, Hampshire, UK – became part of the Murphy group in 1997.
Some Modex products, including Autostart and Keystart controls, are still manufactured by Enovation Controls under the Murphy brand. Archive information is also available for special and discontinued products. For details about serial numbers and date codes on Modex-designed product, click here.
