Keystart 9000 / 9600 series controllers

A discontinued range Keystart modules, originally manufactured by Modex Automation. Keystart modules provided operator (manual) controlled engine start/stop, with automatic fault shutdown protection. Modules were housed in 72x72mm or 96x96mm cases, for mounting in DIN 68x68mm or DIN 92x92mm panel cut-outs.

Standard models:

• KEY9000: 72x72mm case, no overspeed protection, 3-way off-run-start (O-I-II) keyswitch
• KEY9001: as KEY9000, but with magnetic pickup sensing overspeed protection
• KEY9002: as KEY9000, but with alternator (generator AC) sensing overspeed protection
• KEY9600: 96x96mm case, no overspeed protection, 3-way off-run-start (O-I-II) keyswitch
• KEY9601: as KEY9600, but with magnetic pickup sensing overspeed protection
• KEY9602: as KEY9600, but with alternator (generator AC) sensing overspeed protection
• 'H' option: (for all modules above) 4-way keyswitch with switched positive DC preheat output
• 'A' option: (for all modules above) 4-way keyswitch with switched positive auxillary output and auxillary input for remote control of Run mode
