Example: Machine Hours for Monochrome Displays

The Monochrome platform offers a Machine Hours application that makes it easy to count Engine Hours, Machine Hours, or any hourly count. This application has a resolution of tenths of an hour.

Step 1 - Start the App

Go to the Machine Hours application and edit the Increment Condition expression to start the counter as needed by your application. For example to count engine hours start counting only when the engine is running. 

Step 2 - Display Hours

Display the Machine Hours variable on the display, remember to set the minimum increment value of the gauge to 0.1 and show one decimal point.

Step 3 - Presets

Create the option of presetting machine hours to a specific value.

Add calculation events to the variable Mhrs.Set.MachineHours to set the desired values.

Call the action Mhrs->UpdateMachineHours(Empty) to push the preset value into the machine hours. variable.
