How to Update a Zero Off Display With Aquastar Display Software

Download and install the Aquastar Display Software from this page.
Make sure you have the latest ECOM driver (available on this page) installed to allow the download cable to work.
Plug the ECOM cable into your engine's diagnostic port connector and turn the boat's ignition to power up the Zero Off display.
Start the Aquastar Display program on your computer.
Copy the password emailed to you and use the “Paste Password” button to load it in the display software.
Select the ”Single Serial Number Access” check box.
Type in the Zero Off display’s serial number.
Click OK to go to the next screen. If the password does not match the serial number the program will close.
The software will automatically scan all ports to find your Zero Off display. Once communication is established the model number and serial number of your Zero Off display will appear on-screen. Make sure the information on-screen matches the information sent in the request. A status box at the top of the window indicates communication status.

Use the File menu to select “Reprogram Target”. A file selection box will appear, then select the .mot file that was emailed to you. The display will blank out during reprogramming. Do not remove power during this phase. The software model box will update to show the current software revision once complete.
Turn ignition power off and disconnect the cable.
Turn power back on and verify your Zero Off display is operating properly.
