I am trying to put a timer on my fuel sender so that it that a reading ever min. It instant right now and its way to sensitive, any suggestions?

  What display hardware are you using?

  What we typically do is adjust the smoothing on the gauge to make it react slower so that a sloshing tank does not make the gauge bounce around.
