OpenPV is built on C# dotnet frameworks which makes it very easy to integrate Storyboard C# development. 

Step 1 - Install Crank StoryBoard

• Use the default location for the installation for consistency
• If a different location is used make note of it - you will be prompted to browse for the location when setting up your project.

Step 2 - Install Microsoft Visual Studio 2022

• Older versions may not be compatible, use at minimum 2022.
• Select all the packages that are available to ensure all current and future dependencies are covered.
• In Visual Studio you will be able to run the Storyboard application on your desktop which will be launched in a separate window as well as run the debugger. 

Step 3 - Download Plugins

• Launch OpenPV
• Select Plugins - Downloads by Profile - C# Developer Profile. This will download all the necessary plugins.
• Once these items are installed you are ready to begin developing.
