Encrypt software/ prevent copying

We are about to start deploying the control system that we developed on a PV450 for a hybrid drive for numerous vehicles

How do we lock/encrypt the config so that no unauthorized changes can be made, including for example someone just overwriting the config we used.  Part of the problem is we will be deploying over quite a wide area and there is more than one support team.
