    Hello Dave,

It is using the multipacket PGNs because the size is bigger than 8.  I have not heard of standard packet ids to send multipacket messages.

    Thanks,

    Boyce

    HI Boyce,

this ECU uses ISO-TP  for some of it's diagnostic services which we need to send 18 bytes of data to an 11 bit identifier.  Is this not 'multipacket' ?

could this go into the feature request list?

    Cheers, Dave.

    Hi Dave,

Yes it can go in the feature request list.  It's here: https://support.enovationcontrols.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/115000333587-Request-Features  It would probably mean more if you entered it.

There is the option of sending the desired standard frame packets as Free Form messages.  But it would be manual and would require some scripting (on color displays).

    Thanks,

    Boyce

    will do :)

OK so I guess we could sent 4 sequential  8 bytes frames by a script, that 'appears' as transport protocol ... good idea :) thanks.
