Converting MPC20r2 to MPC20r1

Hi,

I created a config in 2.9.21075 for the MPC20r2 display. My customer would like to use that program on some older MPC20r1 displays as well. I converted to the right hardware and it validates correctly after removing two faults.

For some reason it doesn't allow my to generate a .gciBin file even after validating correctly. Any idea what this could be?

  Hello Mario,

  If you click on Console after the compile do you see a message that the configuration is too big?

  Hi Boyce,

  I don't see that message. It seems to work correctly. I saw in your picture there is a limit of 299008 bytes. I am probably over that looking at the capacity bar.

  Hi Mario,

  The MPC-20-R2 configuration is too big to use on the MPC-20.  After doing a Firmware Create (not a Validate Configuration) and there are no options to Load or Save, click on the Console button and you will see the error message.
